MAY 18: Participation at the LGCN – “Rainbow culture international”

I am invited to present a work of art at informell meeting at ILGCN – “Rainbow culture international” on the 18 of May 2016. Queer cultural workers in the Nordic area. I will present a a figurative oil painting inspired by German expressionist films, French cinema 60s, and Italian exploitation cinema with appropriation of Tizian, Manet, Picasso, Barbra Kruger and Cindy Sherman! The painting is stil in work of progress. There is a program of other artists, poets, cultural attaches, politcal refegees, dissidents from different parts of the world are as well.

Location: TUPILAK, Stockholm “Rainbow culture international”. ILGA is a worldwide federation of 1,200 member organisations from 125 countries campaigning for lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and intersex rights. Since 1978. ILGCN was created at the ILGA world conference in Paris in 1992 to promote international rainbow culture and exchange across borders.
