The Lemkin Institute for Genocide Prevention and Human Security writes June 30, 2025:
“The Lemkin Institute for Genocide Prevention and Human Security would like to bring attention to and condemn recent judicial and governmental developments in the United Kingdom, which attempt to harm transgender and intersex people in the UK by stripping them of privacy and segregating them as ‘others.’ The Lemkin Institute believes these moves are part of a broader process of erasure. It is not only government action but also the media narrative that has fuelled hostility to and debate about the humanity of trans and intersex people while ignoring their voices. We see evidence of genocidal intent and actions targeting these communities. In April this year, the United Kingdom’s Supreme Court (UKSC) delivered a judgment declaring that, for the purposes of the Equality Act (2010), “sex” refers to “biological sex,” which it did not define clearly.“
We also see that the Swedish government, the “Tidöpartierna”, has started the election campaign by trying to use a campaign, an incipient scapegoat policy against the civil and human rights of transgender people as an election issue. Where large parts of the population are lured to click “click-bait” on “news” in tabloid media that slander transgender people and that demand an investigation into whether transgender people should not be allowed to retain their rights.
We warn of the Swedish government’s scaremongering with fake news about transgender people in Swedish media:
- For example, that transgender people’s personal identification numbers are disappearing from the population registration at authorities,
- that the police cannot find a transgender person who has committed a crime if they “changed their first name”. The police have all the information – all old and new first and last names, as well as personal identification numbers (unique identifiers). Nothing is disappearing, the problem is on the contrary, so-called “Gypsy registers” (Swedish, “romregister”) due to old technological thinking.
The Swedish government “forgets” in its press campaign to mention that even “white heterosexual men” who have committed crimes are allowed to change their social security numbers if there is a risk that they will be subjected to retaliation.

A trial in Germany that showed that transgender people were victims in the Third Reich and the late apology of the German Riksdag in 2022. The Swedish people are now scared to death and need to vent their anger.
Therefore, it is dangerous that the Swedish government is starting a scapegoat campaign against transgender people.
People have now been afraid for several years of campaigning that Russia is about to invade Sweden. People are not told that the reason for the constant drug-related murders, “shootings” and explosions in homes is because Sweden has become a tax haven with money laundering for the rich. In this way, the country has been made attractive to the international drug mafia with “international banking” which is the engine of the murders. Instead, the government wants to provide the populist solution with harshness by saying that the children exploited by the drug mafia should be in prison.
The Swedish government “Tidöpartierna”, the largest party the right-wing extreme Sweden Democrats which was started by Swedes with a background in Nazi Germany 1939-1945 where they were members of the German SS who participated in the Holocaust. The Sweden Democrats voted in the Riksdag in the summer of 2013 to maintain the racial biological forced sterilization of transgender people. Transgender people were called in the Swedish legal text by the racial biological term “feeble minded” (“sinnesslöa”) until the summer of 2025 when a new law was passed to replace it from 1972. Now the government wants to go back in time.
